Coach Bags: The Definitive Guide to Every Line

Coach opened its doors in 1941 producing men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags followed later before turning into the core of the brand. Today the lineup of coach handbags covers tailored shoulder bags, relaxed hobos, satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and reissued archive designs. Line by line, this walkthrough explains what each major bag is, when it arrived and how it is put together. Dates of launch are included only where they are documented, and several popular lines have no reliable launch year on record.

Every price quoted here is an observed market price from 2026 rather than a figure from an official price list, and amounts move with size, material and promotions. A buyer shopping for a first coach bag should know that similar names can point to very different designs. A search for “couch bag”, which certain shoppers type when looking for a Coach bag, can pull furniture listings into the results since the first word also describes a sofa.

The Tabby Line

Made as a structured shoulder bag with detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware, the Tabby works just as well crossbody. It arrived under Stuart Vevers in 2019, taking its lines from a shape from Coach’s 1970s archive. Photographer Juergen Teller is reported to have shot its launch campaign, “Dream It Real”. Listed under the main product name Tabby Shoulder Bag, it has shown up in sizes 20, 26 and 36.

In 2021, the puffy Pillow Tabby arrived, coach listed under names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. Observed prices for the Tabby 26 stood at $475 in the US and £475 in the UK, with quilted and special-edition versions priced above it. Because it moves easily between shoulder and crossbody wear, it works well for buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.

The Brooklyn Family

The Brooklyn is a relaxed coach shoulder bag in natural-grain leather, more akin to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. Its release came in August 2024, after a showing on the Fall 2024 runway. Reported listings point to two main sizes: the Brooklyn 28 and the bigger Brooklyn 39. Accounts of the 39 say it is roomy enough for a 15-inch laptop, so it makes a practical work bag.

Not to be confused with the shoulder styles, a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026. In the UK the Brooklyn 28 was observed at £350 at John Lewis. When The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said searches for Coach had risen 160%, the Brooklyn was among the bags it named, though that figure tracks searches rather than resale prices.

The Rogue Family

The Rogue is Coach’s structured satchel, finished with top handles and a shoulder strap. It made its debut on the Fall 2016 runway, was later discontinued and came back in a 2021 relaunch. At the very top of Coach’s leather range, the line comes in versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. The top Coach bag price observed in 2026 came from a Rogue 25 in alligator, observed at $8,000.

As reported, a Made-to-Order Rogue from Coach has taken roughly 12 weeks to make, or about 16 weeks with exotic materials. Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, has featured restored Rogue bags. The Rogue reveals, to plenty of collectors, how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship is able to go.

The Empire Carryall Family

The Empire Carryall is a long, east-west top-handle bag carrying the product name Empire Carryall Bag 34. It was first shown on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway and released in February 2025. Fashion press reported that it had sold out on its release day. The structured Carryall 34 differs from softer variants called Soft Empire, among them a Soft Empire 40.

The Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475 on Coach’s own online store in the UK. With its long top-handle shape, it serves as a more polished alternative to a coach tote bag for daily carrying. When comparing listings, look at the number that follows the name: 34 and 40 refer to different bags.

Kisslock: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel

Kisslock is the name of a frame clasp inspired by vintage coin purses, a motif Coach associates with the Bonnie Cashin era. Several different bags share the name, and they should not be confused. Reported as the opening look of the Fall 2026 show, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather had an observed price of $350. Earlier Kisslock Frame versions also turn up in listings, so the family could predate that show.

Featuring quilted nappa leather and rivets, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 is an earlier style, now seen mainly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved. The Kisslock Barrel Bag is a Spring 2026 Coach Originals reissue modeled on a 1973 design. A Kisslock Backpack was also unveiled for Fall 2026, adding yet another use of the name.

Swinger and Swing Zip: Inside The Coach Originals

Consisting of newly made reissues of archive designs, The Coach Originals sells bags that are new rather than vintage. Coach dates the original Swinger design to 1987; the bag is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag fitted with a turnlock. The current version is the Swinger Bag 20, which also comes With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. Do not treat the two names as one: the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, drawn from a 1998 design.

The Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005 also featured among the Originals reported in early 2025. Reports indicate that the Coach Originals name was already in circulation by 2020. The line works for buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a genuinely vintage piece.

Soho Explained: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker

Soho is one of the most easily confused names in the Coach catalog since it covers three different products. The original Soho Flap first arrived in 2006. Instead of being that 2006 bag, the Soho Bag 25 is a smaller, newer reissue, offered in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard. Listings have also shown a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather; Soho styles sit within The Coach Originals.

Unlike the bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear featured by Coach in 2025 and 2026, and it sits with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To distinguish the bags from the shoe, add “Bag 25” or “Flap” to your search. No reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, so check Coach’s own website before buying.

The Willow, Cassie and Juliet Lines

Not one of these three lines has a documented launch year, recognizable as they are, so be cautious about any date you see online. The Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag have all appeared in the pebble-leather Willow family. Coach’s own website has also carried a Custom Willow Tote; the Willow Tote 24, by comparison, is a clear example of a coach tote bag. Cassie is a crossbody and top-handle design, which includes the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 fitted with a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps.

Cassie styles have continued to be listed on Coach’s own website under newer style codes. Juliet is a soft, slouchy shoulder bag in glovetanned leather, sold in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Availability changes by season, so confirm if a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current before trusting an older review.

All the Lines at a Glance: Observed Prices

In the table below, the main lines are grouped together with their shape, key date and an observed 2026 price wherever one was reliably captured. The size of a bag, material, color and promotions all affect these figures, which are observed market prices and not an official Coach price list. US prices exclude sales tax, but UK prices include VAT. During sales, full-price styles can be marked down; a coach outlet, meanwhile, runs its own promotions on outlet styles.

Coach Outlet is Coach’s own official channel, available through outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website. Coach’s head of investor relations, quoted in 2014, indicated that around 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel. Tapestry has since discussed bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and the figure itself is dated. To find current-season lines, a full-price coach store or Coach’s own website continues to be the place to shop.
